I set a goal when I was a tenth grader and to achieve it is amazing.

Getting to the state tournament was what we were working for. Our goal was never the streak; it was to win the state championship. Playing those teams definitely made us better, and that's why coach (Bob Vaughan) scheduled those games.

It really didn't factor into my decision, but now that I've made it, it's one of the rewards. It's going to feel good to start over as a freshman. I can't wait for that. It's great to be in the spotlight, but there it's a whole new level, and you have to work that much harder.
