Coach was saying to make sure that we play hard because he's going to get us in and out of there, and it's important for us to play hard because it gets the other big guys tired physically and mentally. So far its worked for us... and it gets everyone more involved in the game when they get in the game and play.

It's going to be tough for him to do it, but everyone is pulling for him. Everyone hopes he pulls it off. Everyone wishes the best for him. I was close to Chris. I've been with him for four years. We love the kid. He's a brother to us. We don't want to wish anything negative on him.

There's a saying we always say in practice that the ball doesn't lie, and he went up there and missed the first (three) free throws.

We knew how bad we needed to win these games. Someone had to fill (Rodgers') shoes in terms of on-ball defense and shooting threes. We did a good job of filling the hole.
