"Patrick J." (""Pat"") "Michaels" (born February 15, 1950) is an American Climatology/climatologist. Michaels is a senior fellow in environmental studies at the Cato Institute. Until 2007 he was Professor#Non-tenure-track positions/research professor of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia, where he had worked from 1980.

A self-described skeptic on the issue of global warming, he is a past president of the American Association of State Climatologists. He has written a number of books and papers on climate change, including Sound and Fury: The Science and Politics of Global Warming (1992), The Satanic Gases (2000), and Meltdown: The Predictable Distortion of Global Warming by Scientists, Politicians, and the Media (2004). He's also the co-author of Climate of Extremes: Global Warming Science They Don't Want You to Know (2009). Michaels' viewpoint, as argued in a 2002 article in the journal Climate Research (journal)/Climate Research, is that the planet will see "a warming range of 1.3–3.0°C, with a central value of 1.9°C" for the 1990 to 2100 period (an analysis far smaller than the IPCC's average predictions).

We are very excited to have acquired such attractive oil and gas properties. The combination of a substantial increase in production and reserves, dedicated equipment to support our drilling activities and strong commodity prices positions the Company for strong growth in 2006.

We believe this acquisition of producing properties will generate significant cash flow for the Company. All of the leases are fully equipped so that we can bring them on line immediately. We can also add other wells and conduct in field drilling. Upon completion of this acquisition, the Company could produce 8,000 barrels for the month of February.

Michael's position is in the minority. The consensus is the scientific debate is all but over.

Had this occurred in mid-June to mid-August, it would be much more serious than it is now.

If eligible as an enterprise zone, you are probably also a HUB zone, which is a Historically Under-Utilized Business Zone that automatically qualifies businesses for government contracts.

Your task is to create a vision and put together your land (for a business park). There are people out there who will partner with you. We will.

While many people attempt to connect this season's unusually strong hurricane activity in the Gulf of Mexico with global warming, this is simply not the case.

This movie takes a grain of truth and turns into a mountain of apocalypse.

There are many income opportunities individuals could create.

We are pleased that we were able to reach record production levels, despite losing several days due to the holidays.

With the completion of this acquisition, Black Dragon is poised for rapid revenue growth in 2006. With 1200 company well bores, including 413 producing wells currently in our portfolio, it is our goal to be on target by year end to produce over 30,000 barrels of oil per month.

Global warming competes with cancer and competes with AIDS for a finite amount of money. Nobody ever won that fight by saying: My issue isn't important.
