We got the shots we wanted - we had our chances. We made a nice run in the fourth quarter after falling behind and got it down to one. And we really got shots that we like to get. We just couldn't hit them.

We definitely needed this victory.

We definitely needed this victory. I think the win will definitely benefit us because now we know that we can make plays and pull out a hard fought game.

It's all about making the game fun for kids, no matter what level they are at. You can't be successful unless the kids enjoy what they are doing and want to work hard.

When I came here, Stevens Point wasn't a football school. Out of 600 sophomores at the school, we had 11 come out my first year. We were going down the halls and begging kids to come out. But we kept working at it, and things just got better.

We were together almost the whole time I was there, so we were all on the same page. It made things a lot easier from my end.

You have to understand that we went 15 years where people said they would do it then didn't, so we just decided to do it ourselves. Other schools had two years of experience on us so we needed it, and it had turned out to be a great success.
