"Howard Moore" is an United States/American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at University of Illinois at Chicago. Moore replaced Jimmy Collins (basketball)/Jimmy Collins as head coach of the Flames on August 23, 2010.

Moore played at Taft High School in the Chicago Public League and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He began his coaching career with assisting the head boys basketball coach at Taft High School. He now coaches alongside "Stewart (Stew) Robinson" as his assistant head coach.

To me, it's pretty obvious. When Brian plays well, we win.

He watches what Jason and Brian do or don't do and in film sessions he's a sponge, too. He picks up things coach (Ryan) teaches and preaches and he's starting to show the benefit of all that education.

He's just seizing the opportunity. It's the evolution of him as a player. He's starting to find out more and more what his niche is.

We have to move our feet better.

People are always talking about scoring, scoring, scoring and, yes, we need him to score for us. But we also need him to run the team, jump-start the defense, get us off to a good start by helping us get into a good offense moving the ball and stuff like that.

As a freshman, he should be proud of that and build on that.

I have decided to set the tone of this hearing, and this is a closed hearing. Even if the board and Ms. Cherry waive their right to a closed hearing, it's still the hearing officer's decision.

Once he gets that mean streak in him, he's going to be a handful because he has the skills.
