It was good to see Geoffrey finally go home, and he did it for the first time in nearly five years this last fall. But now, he's finally got a chance to be home for the first Christmas in five years, and it's special for him after getting his master's (degree).

It's a honor for the athletes and [their] thanking them for all the hard work that they have put in and the competitive nature that each of them have. It's always nice to be on a team.

Everybody's gone. They all had a place to go for Christmas, and this is probably the first year that's ever happened. It's definitely unusual, but everybody had a relative or someone to stay with. It's a quirk of fate, I guess.
