West Brunswick came down here and embarrassed us last year. We respect all our opponents. They'll get our full attention. We'll just need to continue to improve next week.

They played inspired defense. They simply took it to us.

We knew we had to execute on offense and give our defense a break. Unfortunately, we splintered there a little bit (in the first half).

Erik ran the offense very well and he threw the ball well, so I am, pleased to see we have a passing threat. But we have to establish some type of run game because we are a run-first team.

This turned into an offensive fireworks show. I don't like that. I like for us to score, but not for them to score. The ultimate difference was our ability to make stops. Our defense toughened up in the second half.

I was real pleased that we didn't give in, we played hard the whole game. We hung in there and we got a lot of people playing time because we are still looking at people in different positions.

The defense played outstanding, particularly in the second half, led by our defensive line. We're improving every week, which is what we want to do.

We've got to continue improving in all phases of the game. We need to focus on playing the entire game and the rest will take care of itself. We've got work hard every week and get prepared for a tough conference.

The defense won the game for us tonight. The defense was outstanding and I think that we are starting to come together as a team and we are helping each other out.
