I'm excited. Western's been one of the top teams in the region all year. I think it'll be a great game.
Every year you have these goals: to win the region and win a national championship. But our senior year, to host the regional, this was something we really expected to accomplish.
We're a bunch of senior guys who've been around. Even though we struggled in that one stretch, with this group, I don't think there was a lot of panic. They're a good team, and good teams go on runs.
Our guys realize that if we stop people from scoring, we're always going to have a chance to win, whether our shots are falling or not.
We came into the season with a lot of confidence in our coach and each other. I don't think the players are surprised by our start.
For us seniors, and for the team as a whole, we wanted this pretty bad.
