Our offense still gives us trouble sometimes because we don't have the consistency we need. We had our chances in the fourth quarter to score enough points to win, but the ball just wouldn't go in for us.

If we manage to get two hands on those deflections instead of just one, then we set ourselves up to win the game. It shows that this team is getting better every game, but we still have some things we need to work on. Our defense was solid all night, but we are still having some problems on offense.

The biggest improvement would have to be how they made good choices on where and when to attack on offense. We were also able to convert several turnovers into points.

Congratulations to Courtney - I think it's just terrific that she has a chance to get the record. I know it's a cliche, but I'm just really glad I got to play at Monmouth College, and I'm glad that women are still going after those records there.

I'm not sure how it started, but the group that started the second half just exploded on the defensive end of the court. There was a stretch of over a minute where Aledo didn't get the ball across half court. It set the pace for the rest of the game.
