I think all year long we've talked about one or two different people stepping up at the right time. I think tonight I had five kids on the floor step up and do the little things.

We're going to do the best we can to represent our region. There are some good teams there and we'll just do the best we can when we get to Austin.

We had 32 minutes of focus. I think we had small lapses, but I think we had a lot of determination. They beat us earlier this year, so we've been sitting on that.

I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

We were trying to get the ball to Brittany Brooks, our best 3-point shooter who has hit big shots all year. We didn't execute as I had hoped, but we had chances. Pretty much everybody on the floor had a chance at tying it up, and we just didn't finish them.

Our defense turned into our offense. I think Brittany Brooks did an excellent job. She was a big factor in to why Sydney didn't have a great game. Sydney didn't shoot well, but a lot of that may have been because of our defense.
