Cheney has really stepped up for us offensively. She seems extremely confident up at the plate and if she can continue that trend in conference we should be successful.

I am pleased with the way we have started the season. It is always a good feeling to put up some wins, however, we are not satisfied. Now, we have to focus on conference play and beating teams three times in a series.

If we're up by a couple of runs, our kids are going to show you what our bats can do. If our backs are against the wall, it's get kids on base and show what we can do to steal bases and put the ball in play.

We've had a very good start to our season. We've played 27 games in a short amount of time and I think that was a bit long for what we have in terms of a team. I was very impressed.

Sarah has really been key for our overall success. She is throwing the ball very well and has been very consistent on the mound.

This weekend definitely showed our range.

Things are falling into place and we're finding ways to win. There weren't really any big stars, so to speak, because everyone was stepping up when we needed them.

We had a lot of success with the suicide squeeze this weekend, and that was great because we haven't been doing it that much.

It saved us from taking a long trip to New York two weeks in a row. After our Florida schedule, it was very important for the girls to get some rest.
