The St James Parish Council remains committed to doing what we can with the limited resources at our disposal, but it is time for central government to initiate a plan of action and provide the funds with regards to drainage and flood control.

We have had meetings with the Ministry of Local Government and representatives from the Ministry of Finance and they support the idea. In fact, the local government ministry has been providing us with technical support as we work to conclude the arrangements.
