All three guys in goal have played well for us and Chris made several strong saves tonight.

Baxter really played well in net for Mt. Ararat tonight. He was always squared to the puck and didn't allow too many rebounds. He came up big for them.

We just don't have that killer instinct and it's been like that the we whole season.

They kind of knew us almost by our first names. We were a little deeper. They had two (forward) lines, and we had three, and that's going to usually win out in playoffs like that.

He (May) is playing a regular shift now ... other than I may keep him on the bench for a rest during a penalty kill.

Offensively, he is pretty gifted. He has good get-up and once he picks up the puck, he creates a lot of space and his release on his shot is college-level. We have put him onto the second line and that has given us two real good scoring units.

We had three good practices this week and were very solid tonight. We made a couple adjustments to our pre-game routine and despite missing four starters, our depth came in handy tonight.

Sometimes, that's the way overtime goes. Whoever makes that first mistake, hopefully the other team can draw blood. We put our best players out there and went for the kill.

It was an added bonus having Giacomo join the team this year. He just kind of fell into my lap. We didn't know what we were getting, but he skates very fluently and low, a tough thing for someone so tall. We are working with him on playing both ends of the rink. He has some room to grow defensively, coming back and getting the puck.
