They all specialize in something different and it helps out a lot. There's no way I could handle this by myself, especially not being in the school.

We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.

(Our kids) know what they have to do. They've done it all year. We need to do everything right. But we did that against Marysville. We need to do it again.

They need to fight off their back and the guys who can win, need to stick their opponents.

There was nothing different in my coaching style from last year. It's just that this year I had a group of guys that did it. They deserve the credit more than I do. Sometimes you get a group of kids that make you look good.

We want our kids to hustle to the center, stay off their back, be aggressive, keep their grades up and do the other stuff off the mat. Do all of that and good things will happen.
