We didn't think [Akers] was coming back out.

You'd have thought we just won the Super Bowl.

(Coaches) made me do it in practice and I made a few so they said, 'You're No. 2 (behind Akers).

I just tried to keep it simple. Keep my head down and make sure my foot was pointed toward the goal post. I'm just glad we did it when we had such a big lead. I'd hate to go out there in the final seconds of a tie game.

I haven't seen any signs of complacency on this team.

I just had an adrenaline rush, ... It was a little better situation than being in a tied game. I just went back to basics. Watch the ball and make sure your foot finishes between the uprights. It just kind of happened.

I know it's only one game. But I feel really good about our quarterback.
