Our role here is to provide information and understanding. We don't want something tragic to happen before we deal with it. The schools spend a huge amount of time dealing with safety issues, and with the workshop, parents can make certain that the safety starts at home.

Many parents haven't learned the skills as quickly as our children. We're not sure what we can solve in one and one half hour, but we can at least open the opportunity to know that our kids are safe, and that's certainly well worth the effort. We're doing this as a community service.

The Internet has many advantages and can be a positive teaching tool. But there is also that potential for wrongdoing. It's a wonderful tool and there is a clear danger, and in the workshop, we will discuss the dangers.
