It certainly was tough playing two games in one day because it's not something you can prepare for. It was nice to see the girls respond like they did. When we lost Marianne there were some tears, but then there was a sense that we would toughen up. That's exactly what they did.

Pasco plays us physical and we'll have to be ready for a game like that. At moments (in the two previous games) we got a little frustrated but that's good for us.

It figures. We go through the entire year without one injury, and then they all seem to happen at once.

We thought their ball-handling was something we could exploit, so we came out with maximum pressure. The girls were just so excited to play somebody different and they came out on fire.

We're certainly going to go out and give it our best. If we get Marianne back, it will be a boost.

What I was looking for was a lot of energy and we had that, especially in the second and third quarters. We utilized our presses, found one we liked and came out with a good third quarter.

We had a couple of runs there, of eight to 10 points, and that indicates that the press is working. That's very crucial to us.

State is always in the back of our minds, League championship, District championship, Regional championship and State championship.

We had Marianne (Lombardi) on her and we tried to front her as well. The biggest thing was getting them away from what they want to do.
