Mendham is the clear favorite. We just want to play ourselves into a situation where we again have a chance on the second day to win it. I think the experience we gained last year will make us stronger and more comfortable in big matches. I definitely feel we have a better shot at it this year than we did last year.

Julia's made a big jump this year in her game. She is much stronger and is very focused. She knows it's her last chance to win a county championship.

Overall, I expect us to be stronger than last year, particularly at the doubles positions. We hope to be in a position to challenge for the county tournament championship again this year. We have experienced players in our lineup, which will help us in the big matches and tournaments.

We have three starting seniors and they all know that there's no next year for them. Their attitude is to take their best shot and try to bring home a team championship.
