"James Patrick "Jim" Edmonds" is a former United States/American Major League Baseball center fielder and current broadcaster for Fox Sports Midwest. He played for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim/California/Anaheim Angels, the St. Louis Cardinals, the San Diego Padres, the Chicago Cubs, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Cincinnati Reds. Known for his defensive abilities – particularly of his catches – Edmonds also was a prolific hitter, Batting average/batting .284 with 393 home runs and an on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS) of .903. He is affectionately known by Cardinal fans as ""Jimmy Baseball"", ""Jimmy Ballgame"", and ""Hollywood"".
