We made some gains in that (second practice), no doubt. But I still don't feel like it's good enough to run well on Thursday. We'll keep making changes, and hopefully we hit on something.

I thought going in that we could get a good lap, ... My car felt really good in practice. Going out so close to the end, I think it really helped. It cooled down quite a bit.

I've been happy with the car. Yesterday (Friday) was really the only day I thought we were off a little bit. I think we're in good shape. If we can survive it and get to the end, then we'll see what we've got.

We've struggled up to this point a little bit. None of the Bill Davis cars qualified as fast as we thought they could or should. We weren't all that happy with it in the first drafting practice. We need to gain a good bit more.

So, who knows? Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, we'll know.

We were really happy with today. I thought we got the car back handling to as well as Thursday or better.

You have to get ready for all conditions or at least know what to change on the car to get it where you need it. I was happy on Thursday when it was a little cooler. We missed a little with the hot weather on Friday, but I felt with the hot weather (Saturday) that we were right on. I think we have a good gauge of where to go with the car.

I don't know where I'm going to be at next year. That's all I know.
