We talked a lot going into tonight about how one loss to Oxford was not going to end our playoff hopes. They stayed focus on the task at hand and kept playing until the job was finished.

We didn't come out with as much intensity as I hoped we would tonight. We played a good team, but we can play better than we did tonight.

That was a good game. Both teams had chances to score, but the defenses kept the ball out of the net the whole day.

The school is letting us leave very early for the game, and that will give us plenty of time to stop and eat, stretch and try to keep the blood flowing and the muscles loose throughout the day. We plan to get there about an hour and a half before the game starts so we can get ready and focused for the task at hand.

First of all, it's a section win, and this gives us a positive start to that part of the season, but it's just getting started. We have nine section games left, but we were also able to put some players in new positions on the field, and they were able to get some experience there.

That was the week of spring break, and we hadn't practiced in a week. The girls are more focused right now than they were that day.

When you lose to a team by nine goals, it can be very easy to just give up and not work hard when you play them again, but these girls didn't do that. They were in their face all night going after balls and not backing down, and that was very impressive.

We just kept playing hard away from the ball and at the ball. We knew the ball was ours, and we played like it was.

We still have two section games remaining. So we just need to keep winning to make sure we get to stay home for the first round of the playoffs.
