It is just monstrous in size.

It certainly has held the fire, there's no more active fire of any concern here today.

It's likely to continue burning for some days, if not weeks.

We can't do much about the weather. All we can do is ask the people to be vigilant and to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior and to report fires early so we can actually get to them early.

Today will be fine with no problems at all but what we're looking at is three or four days ahead in case it does warm up again we need to make sure this fire is thoroughly contained.

There is no total fire ban in place today, despite the extreme weather conditions we saw a couple of days ago. Blazes are controlled and no properties are directly under threat.
