My goal was not to blame but to acknowledge, remember and renew. Activism in art has a negative connotation, but my art isn't trying to portray that. I am responding to the fact that 800,000 people are dead. Rather than blaming someone, I am working on healing. It was kind of like making a movie. All the people who worked with me were people involved with my vision.

Art has always been about an object, but art has been going in new directions. I love for people to go see and participate. Personally, I have been getting out of the elitist idea within the art world, and it has made me more of a real person.
