These things make Qwest's bundle more compelling than traditional bundling of services.

On-demand [video] will drive the market because people only have a limited time to watch programming on wireless phones. They are not going to want to stare at the screen for extended periods of time because it is small and it is a strain on the eyes. People will want good content menus where they can choose what they watch when they want to watch it.

One of the areas that's going to slow down the adoption of mobile TV is securing broadcasting rights, but the carriers who can secure broadcast rights have more of an opportunity for uniqueness in their service. If they get rights to something that no one else has and it's a hot area, then that gives them an advantage.

It's going to be a very tough market to stay competitive in.

Because they're not growing as fast as they used to, carriers are having to differentiate plans to stand out.
