It's good to have the kids have to step up with a big hit once in a while. That's what we like to see.

We got down early, but we didn't hang our heads. We kept ourselves in the game and got a couple of hits when we needed them.

Seems like (when) Ian (Viola) gets out of that first inning - he's been pitching real well.

Daniel's catch was huge. If he doesn't get to that ball, it's a different game. He kept us in it, then at bat, made some adjustments and hit it a mile. I've seen enough of them to know it was gone.

We've scored 25 runs over the last two games, so we're swinging it pretty good. We've got some good hitters and we've got a good mix of older guys and younger guys. It all seems to work out.

We're looking forward to getting to the championship game, but our thoughts will be about winning (today); we've got to get through (Columbia) first. They've got a good club. We're looking forward to it.

Ian really bore down. He got the outs when he needed them, he deserves a lot of the credit.

I was glad to see all of our kids got to play. A couple of our pitchers did a good job, held them to two runs. And we swung the bats pretty well.
