Danielle had 10 strikeouts and Tiffany had 11 strikeouts. That's just awesome.

As a freshman, she knew she had to step up to the challenge. Tiffany has contributed above and beyond this year. We just want her to stay in her zone.

She still hasn't brought it all to the table yet. That's the only thing that is surprising. I expect for her to always hold her own. When we recruited her, we saw the quality and potential in her talent.

This was an objective and a goal and we met it. They brought their offense, defense and pitching.

It's about the tradition. It's about going out there and leaving it all on the line. I think they have grasped that concept and accepted that challenge. If we bring that to the table, then we'll do what we are supposed to do.

They are students, and that comes first. What we do is meet for about an hour to maintain team chemistry, have fun and relax. Softball is secondary during that time. We do it this way every year. It's a tradition.

They'll rest. They'll sleep on the bus. They'll sleep a lot better knowing that they left with two wins.

Danielle knows she is supposed to guide Tiffany and give her the best example to follow. I think that is where their competitiveness comes in.
