One of the big things that Boise seemed to have a problem with at this school. Was that we were paying to teach all these teachers, but they were going to other states because of better pay and what not.

They say some of these are the same problems with our schools today. It's similar to what's going on with the colleges right now.

It was a relatively small group that orchestrated the campaign to shut the school down. They tried and tried, but they couldn't find a governor who would do it ... that is, until they found Governor Jordan.

But a lot of it has to do with the money. When the small group trying to close the school had supporters in JFAQ (Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee), it seemed like the money never really came in. It seemed like it all went to Boise.
