Our shots weren't falling during warm-ups. I don't think the girls were very confident shooting the basketball. Their defense really rattled us and as a result everyone was looking to give the ball to someone else.
Whatever it is, we've got to play better.
I am so proud of them. I knew I had a good team, but I didn't in my wildest dreams think we would get to the Sweet 16 again.
I told them once we got the lead Southern Lab would fall apart. And they did.
I thought we matched up really well with these girls. We just couldn't adjust on defense.
I am proud of the girls as we did really well this year to finish 28-3 overall. It was an amazing accomplishment and I am really proud of what they did.
They weren't intimidated even when we had the first half turnovers. I wanted to push the ball because we knew their big girls were slow.
Turnovers killed us. Against Southern Lab we were able to score points off of their turnovers, but tonight we had way too many turnovers of our own.
They jumped out on us right away. Because of that we weren't able to get into our transition game.
