I enjoyed Michigan State, and camaraderie with my teammates was great. About halfway through the season I decided that I just didn't want to be there after the season. I didn't want to spend all of my college years there.

I'm not so sure the (Michigan State) coaches were happy that I went home, but it was something I had to do.

It's a lot of fun going to practice knowing you are going to play on Saturdays. I'm real anxious.

I have big expectations. I expect to make an impact in the Big 12 right away. I worked hard during the spring, and I'm going to continue to work hard during the summer so I can be one of the best players in the Big 12.

Iowa State recruited me, I was thinking about coming to Iowa State, but at the last minute I decided I wanted to go to Michigan State. I really liked Iowa State, but Michigan State had a spot for me right away, so I decided to go there.
