We knew we were going to be part of history when we got to the fourth overtime. So we really wanted to be on the winning end. No one wants to be the losing team in the longest game in history.

We're a young team, but we have a lot of guys who have been there, so hopefully we can use that to our advantage. We're excited because I think we're peaking at the right time.

We knew right away it was going to be a goaltenders' duel. Any other goalie and we probably would have put it away a little earlier, but he (Whitmore) kept them in there and I respect him a lot for that.

The last couple of years have been great with fan support. They're always there for us. We thrive off of that.

The last 10 minutes were really frantic. We've been through that and we know what to do to stay in those games. I was able to make some big saves for my team. We didn't want our season to end on a sour note.
