I'm glad I never had to play against him. He was a son of a gun around the basket. One time I think Tim fouled out three opposing centers when we played this team from Detroit, Michigan. They were like 6-7 and 6-8, and Tim posted them up and had like 38 or 39 points against them. Amazing.

There are so many strategies that the arts teaches as far as higher-level thinking. To take kids out of the arts is kind of like taking a child out of science to do math.
I think we were pretty fortunate. Not many kids get to play basketball together for that long. We had such good chemistry. We pretty much knew what the other guys were going to do -- or at least we knew long before the other team did.
