Gallagher has also run unsuccessfully for the United States Senate in United States Senate election in Florida, 2000/2000 and four times for Governor of Florida: in United States gubernatorial elections, 1982/1982, Florida gubernatorial election, 1986/1986, Florida gubernatorial election, 1994/1994 and Florida gubernatorial election, 2006/2006.
