It was a little old school. We wanted to have the mass start so that some of the kids who are stronger at cross-country wouldn't have to start at the back of the pack. We figured out the places after it was all over.

A lot of the little stuff was taken care of. The seats are all locked down, the grass is green and we're going to be playing ball here very shortly.

When you get out there on the field, there's really no time to think about stuff like that. But you could definitely feel his presence.
