"Timothy J. Dunne" is a British scholar of international relations. He was previously professor of International Relations and Head of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Exeter, UK. He has recently taken up a post as Research Director of the [http://www.r2pasiapacific.org Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect] at the University of Queensland, Australia. As a theorist, Dunne has written on many paradigms, but his primary theoretical interest is in the English school of international relations theory/English school. He has served as an associate editor for several journals, including the Review of International Studies, the [http://www.informaworld.com/smpp/title~db=all~content=t713635869 International Journal of Human Rights], and is currently an editor of the European Journal of International Relations.

Dunne completed his undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia in 1989 and received his MPhil and DPhil in International Relations from St Antony's College, Oxford.
