"Thomas Hodgson" is a Canada/Canadian canoe racing/sprint canoer who competed in the 1950s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of eighth in the Canoeing at the 1952 Summer Olympics – Men's C-2 1000 metres/C-2 1000 m event at Helsinki in 1952 Summer Olympics/1952.
Prior to the Olympics, Hodgson served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. While there, Hodgson picked up painting as a hobby. During the 1950s, Hodgson was part of the Painters Eleven which would earn him a position at the Ontario College of Art.
A native of Toronto, he died in Peterborough of Alzheimers. Hodgson was the last surviving member of Painters Eleven.
