"Edward Paul "Ted" Donato" is a retired United States of America/American ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League/NHL. Since he retired from professional hockey as a player in 2004, he has served as the head coach for the Harvard University#Athletics/Harvard University hockey team. Donato's son, Ryan Donato/Ryan, was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Donato was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts.
