I started varsity four years for coach Bender, and he was great to play for. Lee Robinson was the director at the Salvation Army and had me working on my ball-handling skills, shooting, defense. He helped me develop all parts of my game.

It was real tough to sit out, but Wilmington has been great to me since I came here. I practiced all year with the team, but couldn't play or travel with the team. I didn't let that discourage me.

I can play anywhere on the court. Going against bigger guys, I can often drive past them and get good shots. If a smaller guard is on me, I can turn my back, post them up and get good looks.
