I use Lysol and bleach and water. And, I am always washing blankets.

I have an enormous amount of respect for students with disabilities as well as other students. You have to start out with an initial respect for another person and recognize they are capable individuals.

I had a very warm welcome here. Everyone has been so accommodating and supportive. (There are) a lot of transitions when you come to a new town and a new place. I have had a really good experience with people here. It seems like everyone here is happy that I'm here, too.

If I knew, I would have left it at the house and had someone pick it up.

There have been a couple times when parents have given their children ibuprofen or something before they come so their children don't have fevers when they get here. I wish all the parents would be more faithful and honest about it. Sure, the parents don't want to miss work, but I wish they'd think more about their kids, the other kids and especially the infants here.

It was my responsibility, as interim director, to make sure students with disabilities had equal access to the same choices as all other students on campus.
