If that does end up being the case, I'm still going to have to make $2 (million) to $2.5 million in adjustments in my recommended budget.

All I can say is that it's a personal leave for personal reasons. We don't typically get into why people are on such personal leaves.

We're the only one of the Big Five school districts to see a decrease. Rochester is No. 1 in the state in terms of childhood poverty. The fact that we are losing aid ... is difficult to understand. I'm very concerned about the preliminary numbers.

Our schools in Rochester are safer than many streets that some of our children have to walk through to get to school. For many, it's a safe haven.

It will be a multiyear plan, at least over the next 10 years.

We have been an open book. We will continue to be.

We're thrilled. We're excited. We still have an adjustment of about $2 million-plus to balance the budget, but I'm certain that we will be able to get that done.
