Based on what we have observed and what the parents tell us, the kids get more confidence in reading with their reading and it also helps them improve their test scores. They develop a more positive attitude.

I am very pleased we won the award. We have had a good year so far. This could be our lucky year. Part of the success can go to our coordinator Judy Jackson. She alerted us to many opportunities offered to get grants and helped us to be methodical about the applications.
