Both teams played really, really well. It was sad to see either team lose this year because they both could have won a lot of leagues. It was fun to watch because I've never seen 12 kids so totally focused.

We played with heavy hearts. The kids did a great job under the circumstances and to finish the round is an accomplishment in itself.

When you know you can finish second the intensity is not there. We still wanted to win, but we knew that if we didn't make any major mistakes we had league wrapped up. We're happy because we maintained the streak.

It's all about not forgetting. He was a great kid with a great work ethic. It's hard to even talk about it. You feel like he's still with us, but he's not with us. (With) everything we do, we have Logan on our minds.

I also coached Alexander's dad (Gary). That's the first time that's happened.
