I think that it will make for one heck of a weekend. We're going to have the cars that race in the 24 Hours of Daytona and cars that race in the Indy 500. I think that that makes for about as good a show as you could ask for.

Since renovating this facility, it has been our mission to offer fans in Northern California the widest variety of motor racing action.

We don't feel that we can continue in good faith to tell people that there is no other alternative.

It's been very clear for the better part of 10 years that we need to build a new hospital. If this does not pass, I think we're going to see a quick exodus of doctors and nurses and other clinical personnel.

There has to be the political will. The challenge they face is how will these plants be lined up and told this will happen?

They are wrestling with a lot of the same pollution problems that we wrestled with several years ago and that, to some extent, we still are grappling with.

I certainly hope that people will see this as a wonderful option for the hospital. Hopefully, this becomes an alternative that the people in the community can rally around.
