Cat is definitely a great pitcher. I think in the Big 12 there's a lot of great teams. (Texas) is not even favored to win the Big 12 Conference.

It was great to be at home. We had a nice crowd, and that's nice. I was proud of our performance today.

I think we've done some good things. I think we've also had a lot of things that have happened that we can learn from.

I think that was huge for us, especially coming from behind. I really hope we really work on that and feed off of that and have a great weekend.

My biggest concern is patience. I think it's important for us to be patient and play pitch by pitch. The sport that we play is a sport of failures, and if you fail six times out of 10, you're going to be an All-American. That's constantly a challenge for us to overcome, and when we fail, it's how quickly can you recover.

We should have a lot of success this weekend. That's what I expect.

That's just something we need to work on. We talked about it at practice (Tuesday) and we need to make sure that we're getting better.

She's kept us in a lot of games. She threw a great game against Houston that we lost, 2-0. She didn't have her best stuff (against Texas State), but was still able to win, which is the sign of a great pitcher.

We need to make sure we do the things we need to do in order to win. I think it should be a good match-up. The Big 12 is a great conference and anybody can beat anybody on a given day. It's always important to play your best.
