I'm very proud of all 25 boys. They bought into our philosophy, which is family. ... They believed in one another, worked hard, and I'll tell you, from No. 1 to 25, there's no one person more important than any other.

I think we came in looking past (Penn). I had told (my players) Penn's an outstanding team. ... Quite frankly, they outplayed us the whole game.

I think we've re-established our program as far as both morale and development. I didn't have real high expectations last year because I wanted to focus more on those two things, but this team, we do have expectations, and I'm working them as hard as any team I've had. Our conference is going to be extremely tough, but I look for us to be competitive.

Penn outplayed us physically, passionately and in the way you play soccer. They were able to ping the ball around, and we were chasing the ball around like a rabid dog looking for a loose bone.

We have eight juniors, two seniors, and one freshman starting. We all know there is still a very long way to go but we are playing very well right now.
