They basically earned one goal and the other ones were just one-on-one with the keeper. At this level you have to score on those and they did, so I congratulate them on a job well done. But we didn't do a real good job.

It was kind of shocking to me when the vote was read. I don't know if it's coaches' feelings that Mitchell's getting everything or what. But yeah, for a second-team player to get player of the year, I'm not real sure how it happened.

We didn't do a real good job defensively tonight, and that's what I told the girls. We picked a bad night to play poorly defensively.

We were a little banged up. We had a much tougher semifinal match than [Zephyrhills] did, but at the same time I give them all the credit in the world.

Sometimes it's a bounce here and a bounce there. And it went our way tonight.
