"Shannon Brown" is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, was named Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2003, and played college basketball for Michigan State University. The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Brown in 2006 NBA Draft/2006; Brown played his rookie season with Cleveland and has played for three teams in the NBA Development League.
