I thought the difference was West got a lot more aggressive when we got up by 8 and they made some things happen. We didn't play poorly. They just did a lot of good things to win it.

They did more at the end of the game that we did. It's not that we played poorly, because we didn't. Mukwonago just did a lot of things right.

We know West pretty good and I'm sure they know us just as well. At this part of the season, the team that plays best wins. Records don't mean too much.

They put a lot of pressure on us in the half court most of the game and we struggled with it. We should have gotten the ball to the free-throw line more. Once we got it on the wings, they really attacked us. We just never got anything going offensively all night.

We gave it our best shot tonight and it wasn't enough. Give Cedarburg credit. They played a solid game and simply played better than we did. Our effort was there. But we certainly didn't play our best tonight. But they probably had something to do with that.

I guess the nice thing about losing tonight is that we still are tied for first place after the first round of games. We played hard tonight. We didn't lose the game. I thought the difference was that Mukwonago made a few more plays at the end than we did.

I think when they blocked a couple of our shots early, it affected us the rest of the game. We let that bother us. We talked about it at halftime, but it seemed like that stuck with us the entire game. It made us change our shots.

We have to go out now and win our last two games. I think our girls are playing a little nervous the last two games. We just have to go out and relax and play basketball. We're thinking too much rather than just playing.

Our goal right now is to keep the season going as long as we can. We're playing pretty good basketball right now. And we're going to have to keep playing that way to stay alive.
