It's nice to get out and actually play a few games after just officiating. It's fun being out there with some of the older guys. We have a good time. It's a good change of pace for me.

It's like any other sport. You hear the complaints during the game, but, for the most part, it's just fine. Once in a while it gets a little rough, but the good times outnumber the bad by a lot.

I've been skating a long time, and I really enjoy the sport. I'm still in good shape, and I plan on doing it, right now, for as long as they think I'm capable of being a quality official. Hopefully, they'll keep me around for a few more years.
