That's gonna be really good for our residents that can go back and forth and our tourists.

Our alternative is to build a bridge but we don't think that's necessary at this point.

We are moving all that debris so we don't have anything falling on cars, so we will hold that closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the next couple of days until we are sure motorists can move safely.

We are not repairing that road because of the imminent danger, perhaps, of the Morita dam. I don't want my crews out there repairing the highway and if this dam were to break, we could lose more people.
