I didn't do as good of a job as I needed to to prepare these kids offensively. Give credit to Younger, he did a fantastic job and they played phenomenal defense.

We couldn't capitalize on our scoring chances and that was the story of the game. They capitalized on our mistakes.

We wanted to come out and get on them early. Scoring a goal just 38 seconds into the game was a big boost for us.

We got good scoring balance, but that's the way it has been all season for us. It has been spread out.

I don't think there's too much you can do when you have a guy like that out there, going 97 mph and bringing it down to only 94. He had it today. You could see it rising.

Lake Placid clogged the middle and they were always around the puck. They played pretty well and battled all game.

We played alright five-on-five. But, against a team that skates as well and passes as well as they do, you can't be skating a man down.

It all came down to this game. I would hope (they are disappointed). They knew what was on the line.
